A halloween experience to die for!!!
Cockney gravediggers today loaded Las Vegan Travis Richards into a wooden casket, threw him into a hot rod hearse, and took him on a wild, twisting ride to a grave site, where they unceremoniously threw him in a hole and shoveled in the dirt. Lying on his back in the pitch black, Richards, a self-described claustrophobic, faced his worst fears.
The stench of roses, dirt and decay was overwhelming, stated Richards, who works as a videographer for Got Films and was on assignment at Funtown Frightfest when the incident took place. That’s the last trip I take inside a coffin. If ever there was an argument for cremation, the Last Ride is it.
A personal, solo, extreme experience involving all the senses, the Last Ride is a simulated trip to the grave in a wooden casket, and the latest attraction to debut at Monster Mayhem Haunted Village.
Those brave enough to experience The Last Ride hear the sounds feel the movement and even smell the roses, dirt and decay as they are buried alive, while friends and family share the experience from afar via a Casket Cam.
Monster Mayhem delivers the goods as part of the Peoples Autism Foundation Funtown Frightfest, located in Summerlin at Boca Park Shopping Center on the corner of Rampart and Alta, (across from Sun Coast Casino). Monster Mayhem features two haunted houses and a haunted graveyard with dozens of horrifying scares. Tickets are available at the gate. Monster Mayhem is open now through November 1, 2009 from 7pm to Midnight. Funtown Frightfest opens at 4:00pm daily.
